New Range Rover Velar: Improved With Luxurious Finishing Touches

Exciting Design

With its revised grille and new Pixel LED Headlights with jewel-like effect Signature Daytime Running Lights, the Range Rover Velar, which established Range Rover's minimalist design philosophy, ensures a uniform appearance across the whole family.

The large rear overhang balances the vehicle and draws attention to the Range Rover Velar's imposing length. Its prominent kick contributes to its strong posture, and the new lower rear bumper, which has disguised tailpipes for a classy look, accentuates its proportions.

New LED taillights reflect this elegance with super-red lighting and an eye-catching 3D look. A full-length high-level stop-lamp completes the set.

The Range Rover Velar's interior is even more understated, with superb craftsmanship and modern materials. A single 11.4-inch floating curved glass interface is ergonomically positioned higher and simpler to reach, helping to minimize distraction and reflections. In addition, it is the newest version of Range Rover's Pivi Pro infotainment system.

In addition to new seat designs and materials, the Range Rover Velar still provides a leather-free interior option. The version without leather blends wool from KvadratTM, a leading manufacturer of textiles from Denmark, with UltrafabricsTM polyurethane textile inserts that have a brand-new Diamond Herringbone perforation pattern. KvadratTM wool mixes, inspired by custom tailoring, are 58% lighter than leather and provide a contemporary look and improved tactility for a new touch on classic Range Rover luxury.

The four new leather colorways of Cloud, Caraway, Raven Blue, and Deep Garnet are shown. A carefully chosen selection of accents, such as new Moonlight Chrome on the steering wheel, center console surrounds, and air vents, complete these. Its beauty is emphasized by tactile Shadow Grey Ash wood veneer trim finishes or light- or dark-anodized aluminum.

Metallic Varesine Blue and Premium Metallic Zadar Grey are two new color choices added to the exterior pallet.

Technology with connection

Pivi Pro, the next generation of infotainment systems, is debuting in the new Range Rover Velar. The new 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen controls all primary vehicle functions, giving the impression that it is floating off the dash, thanks to its minimalist design.

Every trip begins with the Pre-Drive panel, where the driver can quickly adjust settings like the climate control and the optional heated seats or window demisters. When in motion, it vanishes to display the standard three-panel home screen that may be modified with the usual Pivi Pro intelligence and adaptability.

To shorten work and interaction times and provide the most user-friendly technological experience possible, the next-generation infotainment underwent thorough testing and development, both digitally and physically, with human testers. Sound Implementation And Technology

With the help of cutting-edge Active Road Noise Cancellation technology, the Range Rover Velar's cozy interior reduces road noise, making it the quietest car of its kind. This technology detects outside frequencies and automatically applies an anti-noise via the car's audio system, lowering interior noise levels by a minimum of 4dB, or four decibels, the equivalent of turning down the volume.

The optional MeridianTM 3D Surround Sound System, which provides high-fidelity music playing utilizing up to 17 speakers and 750W of amplifier power for an immersive listening experience, is the most powerful Meridian audio system available for the New Range Rover Velar.

Luxurious modern living

With improved comfort and optional convenience features that support wellness, the New Range Rover Velar offers the usual Range Rover elegance in a serene environment.

The most recent Cabin Air Purification Plus technology is offered as part of the optional Comfort Pack (or standard on Autobiography) to improve air quality. It is designed to make passengers feel more alert and healthy. By monitoring the interior and outdoor air and making adjustments as necessary, CO2 Management and PM2.5 Cabin Air Filtration enhance the cabin atmosphere.

Clients may lower the number of dangerous allergens or particles inside by pressing the Purify button on the Pivi Pro Air Quality screen to activate. Additionally, the system incorporates nanoeTM X technology, which helps to lessen bacteria, allergies, and pathogens.

As part of the optional Comfort Pack, Configurable Cabin Lighting offers a choice of 30 interior colors to light up the doors, console, and footwells. With its cutting-edge Pixel LED Headlights and Signature Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), the New Range Rover Velar pushes the limits of pixel LED lighting technology in terms of improved visibility at night. The technology comes standard on Dynamic HSE and Autobiography and has three times the number of LEDs as Matrix LED headlights. Four-pixel modules with 67 finely regulated LEDs each make up each headlamp, which enables it to react to the environment and the road ahead and provide the best forward beam possible.

To adjust to the road and illuminate dark corners and verges, Dynamic Bend Lighting employs speed and steering data. In addition, the high beam range may concentrate light over half a kilometer in front, improving visibility.

Adaptive Driving Beam dynamically adjusts to vehicle speed, creating a broad beam at low speeds and a more intense, longer beam over 70 km/h, allowing it to create shadows around four approaching objects and prevent blinding.

Enhanced Electrified Capability and Efficiency

All customers may choose an engine option that suits them in the new Range Rover Velar, which includes the P400e plug-in electric hybrid. Because of its excellent combination of electric-only driving and petrol performance, the Range Rover Velar P400e is a fantastic choice for both short urban excursions and longer adventures. An estimated real-world range of up to 51 kilometers (32 miles) means that the typical daily commute in a Range Rover Velar may be completed with no exhaust emissions. In addition, the plug-in hybrid engine gives a real-world 684 km (425 mi) of petrol and electric range, making it ideal for longer trips.

It has a range of up to 64km (40 miles) on electric power alone, emits 38g/km of CO2 when measured using the WLTP cycle, and uses 1.6l/100km of petrol (176mpg) when combined with gasoline. Moreover, thanks to the bigger 19.2kW battery, the electric-only range has risen by nearly 20%, from 53km (33 miles) to 81km (50 miles).

The P400e can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 60 mph) in 5.4 seconds and from 60 to 200 km/h (130 mph) in 5.1 seconds, producing a combined 404 PS and 640 Nm of torque from its 300 PS 2.0-liter four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine and 105 kW electric motor. Up to 140 km/h (87 mph), it may also go only on electricity.

With a 50kW charger, an 0-80% charge may be completed in as little as 30 minutes away from home, making the P400e one of the few plug-in electric hybrid cars capable of quick DC charging. On the other hand, it takes around 2.5 hours to charge it at home using a 7kW AC charger entirely.

The most recent generation of Ingenium gasoline and diesel engines is available with 48-volt MHEV technology for improved efficiency and power delivery, employing a Belt Integrated Starter Generator (BiSG) to capture energy often wasted during braking. Underneath the back loadspace, it is kept in a 48-volt lithium-ion battery. While giving a more sophisticated and rapid start-stop mechanism, it may redistribute energy to help with acceleration.

Two power levels are offered for the 3.0 liter straight-six Ingenium petrol engine. With speeds from 0-100km/h in 6.3 seconds (0-60mph in 6.0 seconds), the P340 produces 340PS and 480Nm of torque. The more potent P400 produces 400PS and 550Nm of torque, accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour (0 to 60 miles per hour) in 5.5 seconds and emits CO2 at a rate of 219 g/km.

An improved automated eight-speed gearbox is now available for the 2.0-liter four-cylinder. As a result, the P250 has a maximum output of 250PS and 365Nm of torque, a 0–100 km/h time of 7.5 seconds (0–60 mph in 7.1 seconds), CO2 emissions starting at 211g/km, and a maximum fuel consumption of 9.3l/100 km (30.4mpg).

With a strong performance that allows it to go from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 60 mph) in 6.5 seconds, the 3.0-liter straight-six D300 diesel engine delivers 300 PS and 650 Nm of torque. With series sequential turbos and a modern after-treatment system installed, the vehicle has CO2 emissions starting at 188g/km and fuel consumption of 7.2l/100km (39.2mpg).

With CO2 emissions as low as 168g/km and fuel consumption as high as 6.4l/100km (44.1mpg), the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder D200 Ingenium diesel engine generates 204PS.

All six-cylinder and plug-in hybrid versions and all four-cylinder Dynamic HSE variants come standard with Adaptive Dynamics, which guarantees that the suspension stiffness is optimized for the driving circumstances, enhancing ride comfort and handling. Even the tuning is tailored for off-road driving. As a result, on-road performance and agility are remarkable thanks to modern chassis and suspensions, including Electronic Air Suspension, Adaptive Dynamics, and Configurable Dynamics.

Through Pivi Pro, the driver may access Terrain Response 2®, which offers a variety of driving modes, including Eco, Comfort, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Dynamic, and Automatic.
